The movie Fight Club was altered for Chinese viewers in a way that the ending does not show the destruction of a series of buildings but instead displaying a message that the characters have been apprehended by the police.
This almost comical alteration shows the deep fear by the Chinese regime about anything that could spark the slightest protest within it’s population and it’s effort to control every aspect of their lives.
