Michelin announced the use of RFID chips implemented in their tire product line which are used to track the tire life cycle.
Though this might be beneficial from the manufacturer’s point of view it is a dreading future for possible customers using these tires in their everyday life; more aspects of their behavior being tracked without their consent.
