The browser extension “NoScript” promotes to help end users to protect themselves from excessive tracking and other malicious actions on websites but a further analysis of the extension itself reveals shady practices implemented by the author like whitelists to push his own ad revenue. If users seek for ways to protect themselves online they should consider to use something different than this extension.
